Wheat straw
Conditional energy in straw is divided into three parts - digestible, potentially digestible and indigestible.
The energy of protein, fat and sugars found in the plasma of plant cells is digestible.
In wheat straw, the share of digestible energy is approximately 40%, the share of potentially digestible energy is 30% and the share of indigestible energy – 20%.
